| Coach Mike Gallagher grew up and played varsity high school lacrosse in Port Washington, NY. Upon graduation, he attended Salisbury University in Maryland from 1989-1993. There, he was a four-year starter and defensive specialist on the lacrosse team and team captain in 1993. He earned his undergraduate degree in 1993 and his MA degree in Administration and Supervision in 1995 from Salisbury University. During 1994 and 1995, he was an assistant coach on the Seagull’s lacrosse staff when Salisbury University won two Division III National Championships. He is currently employed by the Port Washington School District. He teaches at Weber Middle School and works with special education students. Coach Gallagher has been the assistant coach for the Port Washington Boys Varsity Lacrosse team since 1996. He is also a coach for the Port Washington JV Football team. |
